Songdoor.com features “Epiphany” video this week.

Hey, friend.

My sad cuisine cries out for relief from my poor culinary decisions. Like someone watching their own surgery being performed by a drunken doctor.

There’s some anthropomorphism right there.

Anyhow, the video for “Epiphany” (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OGfyxyXSxec) will be shown on Songdoor.com this week.

Stay frosty.

Dirty Red Pagan thanks you. And as Peter Cetera once said , “Ooh ooh wee. Pretty momma look (sic) good to me. Yes indeed, little Miss Lovin.”

Here ’tis.  in audio.

And here it is in video form:

I play “My Cecile” and “Water” from the new CD, “Dirty Red Pagan”.

CDs available through my website in a few weeks.

Dirty Red Pagan is a band.

Here we have the delicious talents of Marko Marisic on the guitar, Oyku (Queenie) Bilgili on keyboards (two of them!) and that delightful pixie of percussion, Ken Ray Wilemon. And…me.

Tonight at Motorco in Durham! Opening for Dopapod. It’s a palindrome. The first “o” is long. Thank god for that.

More CD News

So I think I’m going to stick with “Dirty Red Pagan” as the CD’s title, but nothing is set in stone until it’s set in type. One thing I do know is that I’m meeting a nice fellow to talk about video shoots for two of the songs. Starting as well to put the art work together. If you know any CD manufacturing place that does short run CD duplication with booklets, please contact me. “Thank you” to all the folks who supported this endeavor through Kickstarter.com or just because they’re friends and wanted to help me out. I’m being shopped to various TV and movie productions as well as searching for the elusive publishing thingie. Stay tuned!

Another good review.

Welcome to gilbertneal.com

Hi there.

I have created this site to be a place where all the music I’ve ever made can be found. You don’t have to pay anything to hear it. These are all the songs in their entirety. As I add more music to the site, the titles of the respective collections will be added as pages, along with as much of a recollection as I can muster. Maybe I will take my place in the American psyche as the next Susan Boyle, like I was hoping.

I think of my songs as a painter regards her or his art. About 99.999999999% of the world’s population will never hear my music. Most who hear it will not like it. However, it’s good music, and some people do like it. It deserves to be heard and it deserves to be heard by many more people than have currently had the chance. Any time I connect with someone who likes what I have done is a time well-spent.

So as I go there will be more and more content, hopefully to the point where I can say there’s nothing that exists that people cannot click a link and hear for themselves. Every song I write is like one of my children. Some are too smart for their own good, some are young and dumb. Some cannot seem to say what they are trying to say, and some are, well, slow. Some are advanced, some are pretty and some make people uncomfortable. They’re all mine, though, and I cannot disown any of them.
